Buttermilk Vanilla Cake Recipe
👩🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Prep the Pan & Oven
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
- Line baking pan with parchment and grease sides
- Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt
- Whisk and set aside
3️⃣ Cream Butter & Sugar
- Beat butter until smooth
- Add sugar; mix on high for 3–4 mins until light and fluffy
4️⃣ Add Eggs & Vanilla
- Mix in vanilla
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly between additions
5️⃣ Alternate Wet & Dry Ingredients
- With mixer on low, add dry ingredients in three batches, alternating with buttermilk
- Don’t overmix—finish by folding gently with a spatula
6️⃣ Bake & Cool
- Pour batter into pan
- Bake for 40–45 mins, until a toothpick comes out clean
- Let cool for a few minutes, then invert onto a wire rack
