Steps to Make the Chocolate Walnut Biscuit Cake
Step 1: Prepare the Base Mixture
In a medium saucepan, combine the milk, sugar, vanilla sugar, and cocoa powder.
Heat over medium-low, stirring constantly, until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is smooth. Avoid letting it boil.
Add the finely chopped walnuts to the mixture, ensuring they’re evenly distributed.
Step 3: Combine with the Cocoa Mixture
Gradually pour the warm cocoa mixture over the biscuits, wafers, and walnuts.
Use a wooden spoon or spatula to gently fold the ingredients together, ensuring every piece is coated with the chocolate mixture.
Step 4: Shape the Cake
Line a rectangular cake pan or a springform pan with plastic wrap, leaving enough overhang to cover the top of the cake.
Transfer the mixture to the pan, pressing it down firmly with the back of a spoon or your hands to create an even layer.
