1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 can (20 ounces) pineapple slices, drained
10 Maraschino cherries

Preparation:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
Melt butter and pour into the prepared pan, tilting to coat the bottom evenly.
Topping:
Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over the melted butter.
Arrange pineapple slices over the brown sugar and place a cherry in the center of each pineapple slice.
